"In essence, if we want to direct our lives, we must take control of our consistent actions. It's not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives, but what we do consistently."
Consistency. It sounds simple, but in all reality, it's easy to become comfortable and slack on what you were once excited about. In order to bridge the gap, I have realized that curating schedule that is conducive to one's lifestyle is beneficial to beat the inconsistencies.
Let's face it, shortcuts aren't always worth taking-- simply because it'll cost you later. Although it may take a while to see results, you should remain consistent. When you put in the necessary work and persist, and actively pursue the results you want, your outcome will exceed your expectations. More specifically with our hair, alot of times when we don't want to deal with it at the moment we put our trust in the ol' faithful protective styles to cover us for the next couple of months. While it seems easier to wear protective styles more often, the increase in tension and lack of moisture will cause more damage to your hair and scalp. In some cases, you can end up right back where you started. So, before attempting to develop a solution with a "miracle product" with quick results, consider the lasting results of the basics of a consistent hair care routine and natural products. Seeing quick results is not the goal, the goal is to be healthy and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Remember, just because you do not see results right away, that does not mean it isn't working, it means you have to keep going.
Consistency is the key to success. It's cliché, but it's very true. Even if you are consistent in one area, and you see progress in another area, it's still a blessing in disguise. Make a plan and stick to it. Sure, we're all human and we fall short when establishing a new routine, but strength is in getting up and moving on from what is trying to hold you back. It's essential for yourself and your future to not remain there, and always strive to be the best, humble version of yourself.
Consistency produces invaluable success.
